Shanique Liz Yates is a passionate storyteller with 7+ years of experience highlighting Black culture and sharing impactful stories. She has contributed to outlets like AfroTech, Sweet July, and Blavity, interviewing icons from Mary J. Blige to Halle Berry. Shanique also created and executive produced a documentary on her family's farming legacy, now airing on aspireTV. Her colorful storytelling has taken her across the diaspora, from Grenada to Barbados. This Virginia native, now based in Atlanta, continues to use her passion to inform, uplift, and inspire through her work.
