In light of recent events, travelistas everywhere have been forced to cancel their travel plans indefinitely and the wanderlust is real.

We've traded in our luggage and passports for Lysol and toilet paper but thanks to the internet, we can live vicariously through our favorite celebs and their international travels, the latest of which is Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Tanya Sam.

While being stuck at the crib has caused us to press pause on our regularly scheduled jet setting, Tanya and her fiance, technology entrepreneur, Dr. Paul Judge, recently posted pictures from their epic trip to South Africa that are sure to soothe your travel bug.

During their trip, Tanya and Paul, who were joined by a few of their baecationing friends, encountered lions, and leopards and penguins alike on their wild safari and xoNecole has a full recap.

The group chose to stay at the Royal Malewane in Krueger National Park at the Africa House, a luxury lodging that accommodates up to 8 people, includes a complimentary vehicle, and sits on the outskirts of the jungle. While suites are rather pricey, starting at $1,616 a night, Tanya guaranteed that potential guests will not be disappointed. She explained in an Instagram video:

"The average day for us, we get up at 5:00 in the morning and our guide and trackers meet us out there in our truck and we're off right before the sunsets. The trackers and guides are so incredible because most of them have actually grown up here in the Krueger Park. And so they understand the animals and their habits, their footprints in a way that, I mean it takes 20 years of study to kind of understand."

The suites, which were decorated by owner and art enthusiast, Liz Biden, feature beautiful garden tubs, African-inspired art, and outdoor showers where you are likely to encounter gazelles, giraffes, and even wildebeests during your stay.

While it'll be a while before we're able to book an overseas baecation, you can see more of Tanya's South African safari below!

'We Had To Heal To Love': Taja Simpson And Ryan Easter’s Journey To Lasting Love

How We Met is a series where xoNecole talks love and relationships with real-life couples. We learn how they met, how like turned into love, and how they make their love work.

One of my favorite things about interviewing married couples and hearing their diverse “How We Met” stories is the way they affirm true love and integral beliefs. One principle that I wholeheartedly believe is that one must truly know and love oneself before effectively doing it for another human being, and Taja Simpson and Ryan Easter’s story affirms this.

The Final Mercury Retrograde Of 2024 Is OTW—How This Bold Energy Will Shift Your Perspective

The final Mercury retrograde of the year arrives this month, and this is an opportunity to close one chapter and prepare for a new one. Mercury retrogrades are the time of the year when you take a step back, assess where your life currently is, and be a little more flexible with how things are playing out for you. When Mercury is in retrograde, miscommunications and misdirections are more likely; however, this isn’t the time to fear where you are headed; it’s more about looking at things from a different perspective right now.
