I've been a fan of sweet potatoes since my grandma used to bless me every holiday by putting her foot in her famous sweet potato pies. Over the years, that love for the starchy vegetable has grown to encompass into an affinity for roasted sweet potatoes, as well as a favorable alternative to traditional fries. If you can relate to either or all of those craving inclinations, this September, we have quite a few treats for you to help you switch up your approach to sweet potatoes. Lawd knows I need them.

Why? Well, aside from being one of many fruits and vegetables currently in-season this month, sweet potatoes are rich in fiber, calcium, iron, potassium, manganese, as well as vitamins B and C. They are also high in beta-carotene, an antioxidant that becomes vitamin A once ingested. From aiding with digestion, to improving your immune system, eating sweet potatoes on the regular comes with its share of health benefits. Plus, nothing says fall quite like it.

Check out the 10 dishes below that are sure to elevate the way you implement sweet potatoes in your meals.

What Does It Mean To Practice 'Sex Etiquette'?

So…I wanna say that it must’ve been when I was either in the seventh or eighth grade that I participated in a series of etiquette classes.

As antiquated as that might sound to some these days and although I don’t remember a ton about them, what I am forever grateful for is learning how to properly set a table and what utensils to use at big formal dinners. When you’re a kid, you think stuff like that is totally unnecessary. Oh, but grow up, move in some circles and you’d be surprised how much random tips will hold you down in a pinch.
