Small Business Saturday is the perfect time to support black-owned brands. Created by American Express, this day signifies an effort to uplift and urge for support of small businesses on the Saturday after Thanksgiving (which, this year, falls on November 28). Here are a few brands to add to your holiday shopping lists this year—from culture and fashion to beauty and lifestyle:

For instance, recently, someone was talking to me about some drama that they were going through with a friend of theirs.
