Over the last decade, Kelis has been in her culinary bag making major money moves in the food industry, and recently, she revealed a joint business venture with a popular Black-owned spice company that promises to bring all of the flavor to your kitchen.

Founded by Angel Gregario five years ago, The Spice Suite is a DC-based storefront and subscription service that carries over 100 internationally-sourced spice blends that quickly took over social media. After gaining traction online, it wasn't long before Kelis, owner of Bounty and Full sauces, linked up with The Spice Suite to give us the culinary collaboration we didn't know we needed. In an interview with ESSENCE, Angel explained:

"Kelis found me on Instagram, we were DMing, and then we got on the call and just vibed. We talked through a collaboration box together, what we were going to put in it, we were going to do an Instagram live to announce it late June."

Their collaboration box, which will be available in July, will feature an array of surprises that will spice up your regularly quarantined dinner routine expeditiously.

"My tribe of customers have been relentless in their support of me and The Spice Suite. Its been absolutely amazing. And fortunately, this is a time where everybody's at home having to cook way more than they wanted to. They're tired of making salmon the same old way. A lot of first-time customers tell me, 'I'm really bored with this chicken and I need something to do, so what do you have?'"

Because each month's delivery features a unique blend of spices that are never duplicated, by booking with this Black-owned brand you can rest assured that you'll never accidentally buy two parsleys from the grocery store ever again.

'We Had To Heal To Love': Taja Simpson And Ryan Easter’s Journey To Lasting Love

How We Met is a series where xoNecole talks love and relationships with real-life couples. We learn how they met, how like turned into love, and how they make their love work.

One of my favorite things about interviewing married couples and hearing their diverse “How We Met” stories is the way they affirm true love and integral beliefs. One principle that I wholeheartedly believe is that one must truly know and love oneself before effectively doing it for another human being, and Taja Simpson and Ryan Easter’s story affirms this.

Add These Body Butters To Your Fall And Winter Bodycare Routines For Hydrated Skin

The change in seasons calls for changes in our skin. Our once-dewy summer glow will likely become drier as the colder fall months take over. During this time, adjusting our overall skin care products is highly encouraged. The moisturizers, lotions, and serums that worked for us during the summer won’t be as successful as our skin becomes drier. One way we can do this is by selecting more rich creams.
