Uranus, the planet that many astrologers refer to as "The Great Awakener", recently settled into pleasure-seeking Taurus where it will remain until 2026. Over the next several years, this erratic planet will push us out of our comfort zone in nothing less than its disruptive fashion. As much as we'd prefer for change to be smooth and easy, Uranus has other ideas in mind that often result in shake-ups within our foundation that ultimately give way for something new to be defined.

During the past seven years, the planet of chaos has spent its time in the bold, trailblazing sign that is Aries which likely resulted in some upheaval as it pertains to your personal identity and autonomy. As the first sign of the zodiac, Aries is all about the self. While Uranus was transiting through this fiery sign, there were likely some defining moments in which you were challenged to define yourself apart from the group, whether that be your family, friends, or any organization you were apart of (this includes the workplace and educational environments).

Any abrupt changes that you experienced during the transit were meant to develop your creative problem-solving skills while teaching you to be more adaptable to life and the curve balls it throws at us sometimes. While the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) took the hardest hits over the last several years, they also experienced some of the most transformational growth as well. You can check out which planets you have in any of those signs to pinpoint which area of your life Uranus wreaked havoc in.

Up until 2026, this eccentric planet will begrudgingly move through Taurus, a very stable sign completely juxtaposing Uranus' energy, paving the way for new foundations related to the way that we earn money, what we value, and how we utilize our resources. As destabilizing as this transit can be, we are ultimately being gifted the opportunity to strip away our attachment to the status quo to embody a more liberated, authentic expression of self.

Check out how Uranus in Taurus will affect your sign below!

Gemini & Gemini Rising

Uranus is going deep with you for the next several years, shaking up your internal structures and inviting you to reassess some of your core beliefs particularly related to self-worth and abundance.

This is a powerful time for you to transform the inner voice that dictates the amount of resources and opportunities available to you.

Much of this process entails clearing out some heavy karma from past lives in which you misused your finances or didn't value your skills enough to create abundance for yourself. Your dreams can provide insight into any vows of poverty you may have made in a past life. As you gain greater awareness of your money mindset through dreams and self-analysis, you'll be able to break free of any constraints that don't allow you to enjoy the riches of the earth. Remember, Gemmie, "As above, so below."

As I approach 30 next year, it’s safe to say I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs in the dating world, especially as a Black woman. Like many of you, I spent my 20s navigating a sea of advice that, in a lot of ways, contradicted each other. Some of the words of wisdom I stumbled across were empowering, while other advice seemed one-sided, but the majority of the “relationship takes” I received left me feeling more confused than ever.

From books such as Act Like a Lady, Think Like A Man, the infamous relationship quizzes, analyzing zodiac signs, contradicting articles, and removal prayers to trusted friends and family members, I have tried it all, and some of you can probably say the same.
