While music videos may not be held in the same regard they once did in the ‘90s and the early 2000s, fans still anticipate them when they drop especially when it’s a bop. And a lot of artists make sure to deliver on the videos by giving us a story, style, and special effects. If you are like us, you may be waiting on Beyoncé to drop her visuals for Renaissance any day now. But in the meantime, some of our other favorite artists have finally given us visuals for their singles this week.

Check them out below:

Latto - “It's Givin”

Latto aka “Big Latto” dropped the video for her hit single “It’s Givin” and yes, it’s givin’! The Atlanta native made sure to highlight everyday women as well as female celebrities who are bosses in their own right. The video features Angela Simmons, Chlöe, and Halle Bailey, Tabitha Brown, Jordyn Woods, Angie Martinez, Ella Mai, Flo Milli, Tiffany “New York” Pollard, Reginae Carter, Nadesha, Skai Jackson, Slick Woods, and Tokyo Stylez.

DJ Khaled ft. SZA and Future - “BEAUTIFUL”

DJ Khaled dropped his album GOD DID last week and had the internet buzzing. While many people were focused on Jay-Z’s verse on the song “GOD DID,” another song from the album had many fans talking. The DJ Khaled song features SZA and Future and it’s titled “BEAUTIFUL.”

DDG - “If I Want You”

Halle Bailey wasn’t just featured in Latto’s video but she was also the leading lady in her boyfriend’s DDG’s video for his song “If I Want You.” While the official video dropped on August 26, the rapper shared a behind-the-scenes video this week on YouTube. The music video seems to pay homage to Halle starring as The Little Mermaid with some of the scenes being filmed in a pool.

Doechii and SZA - “Persuasive”

Doechii’s “Persuasive” became an instant hit song and months after she released the single, she teamed up with SZA for a remix. The music video is just as vibrant as the first one and in typical SZA fashion, she pulled out her pole dancing tricks but this time underwater.

Kendrick Lamar ft. Taylour Paige - “We Cry Together”

“We Cry Together” was one of the most talked about songs from Kendrick Lamar’s latest album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. The song features actress Taylour Paige and she also stars in the music video, which they referred to as a short film, as a couple navigating through toxicity.
