Toni Braxton Has Us Screaming "53 Where?!" All Over Our Timelines In 2021

Braxton, who turned 53 in October, has famously been one of the most beautiful women in the world since emerging on our televisions and record tapes in the early 90's. She is approaching her 30th year in the business and she hasn't let up one nanosecond either. I mean, seriously, whatever juice Toni has been drinking, I need some, because the confidence and lewks is what these 20-year-olds wish they had, mkay?!

But if you ask her, it's not juice at all that has the Grammy winner flexing for the people: it's weed. CBD products to be exact. She has also been focused on skincare and exercise while staying home during the quarantine period, which shows!

She tells Instyle:

"I work[out] hard. I can't lie, I work hard. The maintenance on this car — my body — has to last me 80, 90 years, so I have to take great care of it."

She's also been crediting her newfound look and confidence to her transition to a plant-based lifestyle. She tells Prevention last year:

"I'm becoming plant-based. I'm in the process [of] slowly eliminating meat and replacing it with fish. But I'm going fully plant-based. It's making me feel better, so there is some truth it. But I do miss a good burger."

She continued:

"I'm lucky today. I'm in a better state today than I was when I was first diagnosed. I know what to do when my body feels weird. I listen to my body now. I always try to find the silver lining in everything. Today is a good day!"

And although I'm about to drop a tear at the fact that I have to give up burgers to look like Toni at 53, I also can't help but to see the benefit of doing so. *sigh*
