Seems like SZA is all about experimenting and getting out of her comfort zone in 2015.

The 24-year-old "Moodring" singer, known for her vocals as much as her glorious mane, has joined #TeamRedHead with a new dye job that she says makes her feel electrified.

SZA debuted the new look on her Instagram on Wednesday after previously dying her hair a "horrific" orange before getting the color juuust right.

While speaking to Vogueabout the transformation process, she revealed:

I called my homegirl, who called her homegirl who does Chaka Khan’s hair, and she was like ‘What have you done? But she said my hair wouldn’t break off if I pumped it up another level.I bought intense copper, copper blonde, and dark copper blonde, mixing them together with a 30 volume developer. It came out exactly right.

She admitted that her new look was inspired by model Lily Cole, Vogue creative director Grace Coddington and children's book character Pippi Longstocking.

I was putting too much importance on being cute and preserving [my look]. But if you can’t become the things that inspire you . . . then what’s the point?

And the upside to the new copper 'do? Less makeup! The freckle-faced beauty says since dying her hair, she no longer has to apply any bronzer or blush because her hair just "warms everything up."
