Reagan Gomez-Preston & Her Hubby Celebrate 20 Years Of Marriage & Give Us All The Feels

I love love—more specifically, Black love.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking interracial relationships. But there's something about Black on Black love that hit different, and Reagan Gomez-Preston and her husband of 20 years are living proof that melanin matrimony is timeless.

The Parent 'Hood star recently took to Instagram to wish her boo DeWayne Turrentine "happy anniversary" in a candid Instagram post that will give you all the feels. Although Reagan and DeWayne, who married at only 18- and 19-years-old respectively and now share two children, have managed to keep their relationship on the lowest of keys, the actress used the post as a rare opportunity to publicly display her affection for her man and reflect on their throwback love story. She wrote:

"Nov, 1999, we drove your Escalade to Laughlin, NV to get married, bumpin the Chronic 2000 the whole way."

The couple initially began dating in 1995, when DeWayne was a model and member of 90s R&B group, Quo, and they've been writing their love story ever since. Despite the fact that both of them were too young to book their own hotel rooms on the eve of their wedding, it didn't stop the teenaged love birds from pursuing a love that they could grow into.

"We got to the casino & had to wait for our mothers to catch up because the oldest of us, your sister, was only 20 and we needed to be 21 to check into our rooms. So you, me, my brother, your sister & brother all waited outside like some lost children waiting for our mothers to come rescue us so we could get married the next day. It's been an incredible journey and I'm so happy we chose each other and that our children chose us @goldenchildprince. Excited for our future. To 20 more years."

Although has remained fairly tight-lipped about their marriage since jumping the broom, Reagan let it be known in an interview with The Breakfast Clubthat their silence is intentional AF.

"We're really low key. I've been in the business a really long time, so has he. We've worked with everybody and you never hear crazy stories about us. We're at home with our kids. That's what we do."
