La La Anthony is single and ready to mingle! The 39-year-old actress recently celebrated her new collection with PrettyLittleThing and during her launch party she opened up about finding love after filing for divorce from Carmelo Anthony. La La was married to the Los Angeles Lakers star for 11 years and during that time he allegedly had a baby outside of their marriage. Now that La La is officially single again *cues "Single Again" by Trina*, she is taking some time to focus on herself as well as her son Kiyan.
"I am just really about self-love and taking care of myself. Obviously, my son, Kiyan, is 14, in high school, he is my priority, but I'm really just about tapping into me and what do I like to do and what do I enjoy," La La shared with Entertainment Tonight.
But self-love isn't the only love she's working on. The former MTV VJ revealed that she would be open to finding a partner.
"Who doesn't wanna be in love?! I mean hey, I'm single! So we'll see, we'll see what happens," she said.
She even gave some details about the type of man she's looking for. "Somebody that I can have fun with," she said. "Somebody that I can laugh with, have a good time with. Just someone that is chill and easy because that's pretty much my personality."
But just because she's single and ready to mingle, doesn't necessarily mean that the New Yorker wants to get married again.
In October, the BMF actress opened up about divorcing Carmelo on The Angie Martinez Show and whether or not she can see wedding bells with someone else in the future.
"Marriage, I don't think I can do that ever again," she said. "I mean some, like, amazing person would have to come. I don't see that happening again. But I don't know what God has in store for me."
So far the single life has been looking good on La La, but we want whatever is best for our good sis!
