In About Face, xoNecole gets the 411 on IGers who give us #skincaregoals on a daily. Here, they break down their beauty routines on the inside and out, as well as the highly coveted products that grace their shelves and their skin.

Tabria Majors is a content creator and fashion model who always serves face. Her fierce attitude in the model world has landed her major campaigns and started groundbreaking conversations. She broke the internet with a photoshoot that showcased the reality of being a plus-size model in the industry. The photograph was a clapback to Emily Ratajkowski's photoshoot with M Magazine, where the model was seen wearing an oversized pair of jeans. “I’ve been modeling for ten-plus years now, and the erasure of models my size or bigger has been crazy to witness in real-time,” says Majors.

Although Majors is deeply opinionated and passionate about the fashion space, she’s also a sweet girl from Nashville with a love for beauty. “Growing up in the South, I wasn’t aware of my appearance. Still, I always kept my beauty routine simple with a face wash and lotion every day,” says Majors. College is where Majors' relationship with beauty began to strengthen. Implementing a basic skincare regimen to keep her skin in great health. “I’ve followed all the trends in beauty. From a simple skincare routine to a step routine, I’ve learned that keeping it simple is best.”

At the same time, Majors began to enter the modeling world, where she learned tips from makeup artists on how to better care for her skin. Unlike her hometown, there was now a greater emphasis on how Majors looked due to the industry that she was in. Moving to Los Angeles also came with pressure to keep up with beauty standards. The pressure made Majors feel like she had to be “perfect.” Constantly picking at her features to appease a standard of beauty. “I’ve learned that trying to be perfect is unrealistic, and if you do, it’s an unpleasant existence.” Separating from the pressure of living up to being perfect has helped her develop a new relationship with beauty - internal beauty.

“I’ve learned that trying to be perfect is unrealistic, and if you do, it’s an unpleasant existence.”

Becoming a mom has made Majors look at beauty from a different lens. She doesn’t want her child to emphasize how she looks as she once did. Majors is setting an example for his daughter by practicing kindness and prioritizing her internal self by doing the 75 Hard Challenge. A wellness routine that consists of the following: reading 10 pages of a book, drinking water, workout, meditating, journaling, etc. The exercise is supposed to improve mental health. “Inner beauty radiates far more than outer beauty. Being a good person is always going to be most important.”

Aries-April-2025-monthly-horoscopes

April is a month to slow down and to fully grasp what has been. The month starts in fiery Aries Season, but we are also in the thick of Retrograde Season as we begin the month as well. Thankfully, Mercury finally goes direct on April 7, after being retrograde mid-March, and communication matters are clearing up. This is a month of mental clarity, a fresh start, and not being afraid to dream a little bigger.

On April 12, there is a Full Moon in Libra, and this Full Moon brings relationship and financial matters full circle. This is the time to let go of what doesn’t make you feel balanced or in harmony and to create space for more peace to enter your life. Venus goes direct in Pisces on the same day, after being retrograde since March 1, and love is healing. With Venus now direct, there are more opportunities for commitment and longevity in love, and there is overall a greater feeling of romance, receptivity, and compassion in the air now.

Turns Out Sober Sex Might Be The Underrated Secret To Better Orgasms

Hmph. I know there has got to be at least three times a week when our grandparents will hear about something that folks present as being revolutionary that causes them to just roll their eyes, shrug their shoulders, and continue to go on with whatever they were doing. Listen, call it old-fashioned thinking if you want to but if you want to avoid a lot of unnecessary regret in this life, hang out with your elders (and actually listen to what they are saying) sometimes — they’ve already been where you are and, since when it comes to them, you can’t say the same, you just might get a few gems (in fact, I can almost guarantee it).

Take sobergasms, for instance. Oh, I’m willing to bet that a senior in your life has mentioned them, just in another way, before. If you’ve never heard of the term, it’s actually a pretty good one because it means just what you think it does: SOBER ORGASMS. And just to make sure that we all are on the same page, it’s sex — that hopefully includes orgasms — that involves very little to no alcohol.
