What a time to be alive!

Today's fashion world is finally starting to embrace the curves of women of different shapes and sizes slowly but surely and it is long overdue. Usually, when you visit a local mall you will have a significantly more difficult time if you need a size beyond a large, but don't fret. There are now plentiful resources for you to secure the bag (of clothes) and slay.

Life is a lot more positive when your focus is to embrace who you are, instead of making your main focus to fit into more traditional sizes.

I'd like to introduce you to some millennial plus-size/curvy fashion bloggers who serve as an example of how to fearlessly live life and to embrace your size in an industry that is not largely inclusive of your curves and will help you to embrace the masterpiece that you are.

Mia: The Plus Size Baddie

Mia's name speaks for itself: She is a baddie and she is the boss of her life!

Her fashion style is so elegant and luxe, that she demands your complete attention. Her page serves as a great point of reference of outfits to wear when you are in the mood to be a show-stopper. Fashion is not her only love, as her hair and makeup are always on 100. She also owns her own lash line to complete the look. When asked for her personal words of advice to aspiring plus-size/curvy fashionistas, the powerhouse said:

"I want every plus size woman to know she is beautiful regardless of this society's, especially the current hip hop culture's, standard of beauty. A slim waist, butt, and big breasts isn't what every woman looks like. I have no hips, a chubby waist, and arm fat. I don't apologize for loving myself, being sexy at a size 18/20, and being loudly confident about it."

There are times when we want to grab ahold of what we are experiencing and sensing, and times when we need to let go of something that was once everything to us or what we wanted for ourselves. The moment you conclude that you need to let something go in your life is the moment that your brain fights to make that happen for you.

There is a running joke (that I’m actually quite serious about) that I find myself saying to married couples often: “Shoot, with all that comes with being married, y’all deserve to have as many orgasms as you possibly can.” And as someone who has been working with husbands and wives for over 20 years now, I make it my personal mission to provide all of the information that I can to ensure that achieving the peak of satisfactory sex happens — whether they’ve been together for two years, 10 years or 40 years.
