    I recently just started back writing my prayers down in my prayer journal. One day I was thinking about when there was a time in my life where everything was going right and I asked myself what was I doing and it came to me my prayer journal. It was the one thing that got me through my day and I’m glad I’m adding it back to my morning routine

    One thing I’ve noticed is that since I got an early morning job with an extra long commute, I’ve eliminated all rituals waking up. I’ve also notice that I don’t take pride in my appearance anymore!!!

    I need a revamp! *sulks*

    I love that list. I already do #s 3,5,6,10,11,24,25 & 32. I walk my dogs early morning as well. Its not just good for them, its good for us humans too. I like returning to my bed the way I left it for some reason. Nice dent and everything so #4 is out lol. I will however try #s 30 and 33.

    I have to do better with making my bed. Which I find crazy because growing up we had to make up our bed EVERY single day and it seems now the only time I make up the bed is when I’m changing sheets. 😑

    I say my prayers, make my bed & brush my teeth….I focus on goals or inspirational quotes while brushing my teeth. I need to add yoga or some form of exercise. Oh I’m a goof ball so I dance around a lot & make up silly songs!

    I started doing a lot of these each morning and I promise my days have been so much smoother. I always started telling myself that it’ll be the “Best DAY Ever” and that’s helped me see the brighter side of things.

    First thing I do is write in my “Five Minute Journal” (http://www.fiveminutejournal.com/), then I read a devotional & say a morning prayer from my “Boss Woman Pray” book (http://kachelle-kelly.myshopify.com/products/presale-new-enhanced-version-boss-women-pray-autographed). Then I drink green tea (black) and read a book or listen to a podcast or I finally pick up my phone =)

    I have had to learn to sleep away from my phone and put it out of sight from my night table so it is not the first thing I pick up in the morning.

  11. I would add laughing to the list after I stretch, pray, and meditate. I think of something that always makes me laugh from a good healthy place a memory, a inside joke, or a skit from my favorite comedian. I love this list can not wait to share it with people.

    I really love this idea. Especially now since I have a million and one project going on, I am beginning to feel like I have less and less down time for myself. It’s important to maintain a healthy balance between working hard and playing hard. I’m definitely going to tweak this and incorporate it into my every day.

    Fab list! I’d also add ‘morning walk’ to my list. That fresh early morning air gets me feeling alive now matter how tired I am 🙂
